Oath Ceremony "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat" 02 August 2026
The;Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat oath ceremony was organized at the RKMV Girls Hostel, Shimla, on 02 August 2026 as part of the nationwide campaign initiated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The campaign aims to inspire youth to lead a healthy, drug-free life and contribute towards building a developed India.
Around 200 hostel boarders enthusiastically participated in the programme. The students took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge, promising not to consume intoxicating substances, to encourage others to stay away from drugs, and to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. The oath also reaffirmed their commitment to building a healthy, aware, empowered, and drug-free India.
The hostel wardens motivated the students to uphold moral values and actively support the vision of ;Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.
