RKMV's NSS volunteers returned after a four-day training from Chandigarh. August 4, 2026, to August 7, 2026
The NSS volunteers of Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya (RKMV), Shimla, successfully represented the college in theLeadership and Personality Development Training Program organized by Rajiv Gandhi National Youth Development Institute (RGNIYD), Regional Center, Chandigarh from August 4, 2026, to August 7, 2026.
During the training, both volunteers participated enthusiastically in leadership development, personality building, effective communication, team building, and various creative and group activities. Through the training, they gained practical experience in leadership skills, self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility, and learned many new skills.
At the cultural evening of the program, Diksha and Navina showcased the rich folk culture of Himachal Pradesh, introducing the participants to the cultural heritage of the state. Their presentation was highly appreciated by the organizers and participants from other states.
After returning from college, both volunteers shared the knowledge and experience gained from the training with other NSS volunteers of RKMV and motivated other volunteers to participate in such training.
