The NCC Unit of Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, organized a tree plantation drive under the campaign Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam; with the aim of spreading awareness about environmental protection and encouraging students to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.

The plantation activity was conducted in the college premises and Keleston Jungle, Shimla. A total of 50 NCC cadets actively participated in the drive and planted 50 saplings. The cadets enthusiastically took part in the activity and were encouraged to understand the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, reducing pollution and combating climate change.

The activity not only contributed towards increasing the green cover but also instilled a strong sense of environmental responsibility among the students.
